The promoter is SANORIS PTY LTD, trading as Business Litter (“Promoter”).
The competition opens on 21 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 25 October 2026 (“Promotion Period”). Entries outside the Promotion Period are not eligible.
Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible.
During the Promotion Period, entrants must follow @businesslitter_ on Instagram, post a photo of their cat to their Instagram account, tag @businesslitter_ in the post and keep the competition post available until winners have been verified. Maximum one entry per Instagram account.
Entrants with private Instagram accounts must DM @businesslitter_ after posting so their entry can be registered. After the Promotion Period closes, private-account entrants must provide evidence of their competition post and final like count when requested by the Promoter. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may make the entry ineligible.
There are 10 prizes. Each winner receives one year’s supply of Business Litter for one cat, defined for this promotion as 72 lb of Business Litter. Maximum one prize per entrant. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Five prizes will be awarded to the five eligible competition posts with the highest number of valid Instagram likes at 11:59pm AEDT on 25 October 2026. Only likes on the entrant’s original competition post will count.
Five additional prizes will be awarded by a judging panel appointed by the Promoter. Eligible entries will be judged on Boss Cat personality/concept (40%), caption creativity (30%) and photo quality (30%). The five highest-ranked eligible entries will win these prizes. These prizes are determined on skill and creative merit, not chance.
An entrant who wins a Most-Liked Boss Cat prize will not also be eligible for a Best Boss Cat prize. The next highest-ranked eligible judged entry will receive the prize instead.
If eligible entries are tied for a Most-Liked prize, the tied entry posted first during the Promotion Period will rank higher. For a Best Boss Cat judging tie, the entry with the higher Boss Cat personality/concept score will rank higher, followed by caption creativity if still tied.
Bots, purchased likes, automated engagement, fake accounts or other artificial engagement are prohibited and may result in disqualification. The Promoter may verify engagement and request reasonable evidence from an entrant. Genuine sharing and encouraging real people to like an entry is permitted.
Winners will be contacted by Instagram DM after entries have been verified and may also be announced on @businesslitter_.
Winners must respond within 7 days of being contacted and provide a valid Australian delivery address. The Promoter will arrange prize delivery at no charge. If a winner does not claim the prize within the specified period, the Promoter may award it to the next eligible entry under the applicable selection method.
Entrants confirm they own, or have permission to use, the photograph submitted. By entering, entrants give the Promoter permission to repost or share their competition entry on Business Litter social media channels, with attribution to the entrant’s Instagram account.

Personal information collected in connection with the promotion will be used to administer the competition, verify winners and deliver prizes.
The Promoter may verify entries and entrant eligibility and disqualify entries that breach these Terms & Conditions. The Promoter’s decisions regarding administration and judging are final, subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
